Single-seater racing cars are the fastest and most exciting vehicles on the racetracks of this world. Built simply and solely to compete. Often built for only a few races, they continue to thrill motorsport fans across Europe beyond their actual lifespan in the BOSS GP Racing Series under the claim #TheCarsAreTheStars. In 2023, ladies, gentlemen and youngsters will once again battle for points in four classes, without forgetting the immense emotional and financial value of these cars.

BOSS GP F1 Class
The season starts at the beginning of April with the Grand Prix de France Historique at the wonderful Cote d’Azur. As in the previous year, the BOSS GP Racing Series takes part in the event organised by HVM Racing at the Circuit Paul Ricard. This is followed at the beginning of May by Germany’s now most important historic racing event, the Bosch Hockenheim Historic. One month later, the teams of the BOSS GP Racing Series can look forward to the fans’ favourite Red Bull Ring Classics event for the first time. Before Ferragosto begins in Italy, the participants in the OPEN, FORMULA and SUPER LIGHTS classes will make a detour to the Adriatic Sea with the races at the World Circuit Misano.

In mid-August, they all return to the Netherlands, where numerous fans of the series are eagerly waiting. At the Jack’s Racing Days in Assen, championships from Superkart to Superbike come together. The championship ends with a double-header in Italy. First, the BOSS GP squad will stop by the Parco di Monza between 22 and 24 September as part of the International GT Open event. The title decisions will then be made at the latest at the races in the Tuscan town of Mugello at the beginning of October. They are all Formula 1 and MotoGP approved tracks that guarantee the highest possible safety standards.

Diversity that is unparalleled
With a new format, the BOSS GP Racing Series wants to attract more owners and drivers of Formula 1 cars to the series in Brno (9/10 September) and Magny-Cours (30 September/1 October). More details will be available shortly. The BOSS GP F1 class will again be the top class in 2023 – who can beat the defending champion Ingo Gerstl in his Toro Rosso? Perhaps it will be even a newcomer who will surprise everyone in the BOSS GP F1 Class? The OPEN class is for IndyCars and cars like the Rodin FZED or Lotus T125. Formula 2, World Series, A1 GP & Co. meet in the FORMULA class, while the SUPER LIGHTS category is reserved for six-cylinder cars such as the Formula 3000. All together, they offer action-packed, fast and vociferous motorsport at its best, which is unparalleled in this form in the global motorsport universe.

Discounted season fee in February
Pirelli continue to support BOSS GP as the exclusive tyre supplier. The Italian tyre manufacturer offers a unique product for the participants of the BOSS GP: Formula 1 technology combined with easier handling when warming up the tyres and exclusively in “purple”. The FIA-certified series was able to hire a permanent Race Director for 2023 in the form of the experienced German Werner Aichinger (including Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland). Drivers and teams can still register for the reduced season fee until 28 February. Race-by-race entries are also possible at any time after this date. What is BOSS GP?
Nowhere else can racing cars of the highest categories still be seen fulfilling their original purpose: racing. “BOSS” stands for Big Open Single Seater, which means: Only the large and powerful formula racing cars of recent years are allowed here. In addition to the Formula 1 cars of the past 20 years, the FIA-certified BOSS GP series is also open to Formula 2, IndyCar, World Series by Renault and A1 GP, among others. All together they offer action-packed, fast and powerful racing at its finest, which in this form is unique in the world of motorsports.
